Lewis Patrick Paterson played for the Scottish Exiles’ under-16 and under-19 teams before making his under-19 international debut for Scotland against France in Dourdan, near Paris, in April 2009. He has also played for Devon at under-15, under-16, and under-20 levels.

Lewis, who plays his club rugby for Launceston, the Cornish All Blacks, is a former pupil of Ivybridge Community College, Devon. He is now studying coaching and physical education at University College of St Mark and St John, Plymouth.
