HEFIN O’HARE
Hefin achieved his dream of representing his adopted country on the world rugby sevens’ stage when he played for Scotland 7s in the Hong Kong and Adelaide tournaments in the IRB Sevens World Series in March and April 2009. He also played in the Twickenham and Murrayfield tournaments in May last year, followed by the Dubai and George events in late 2009. Over those six appearances he has scored eight tries. Prior to joining his current side, Glasgow Warriors, he played rugby league for Huddersfield Giants and for his birth country, Wales. He scored a try on his Scotland A debut against Ireland Wolfhounds at Netherdale in January 2011, and came off the bench the following week to play his part in a 11-3 win over Italy A.
