Heather Rosemary Lockhart made her Scotland debut against the USA in November 2004. She scored Scotland's only try in the second Test against South Africa in the World Cup warm-up games in 2010.
The Craigholme School former pupil is also an Oxford University blue and has played international tennis and hockey as well as rugby. After studying law at Oxford and Edinburgh universities she is now competitions co-ordinator for Tennis Scotland.
She has also played club rugby for Murrayfield Wanderers. Sport runs in Heather’s family. Her father, Brian, played scrum half for Glasgow Academicals and Glasgow’s district team, and her mother, Christine, played hockey for Scotland and is in Great Britain’s current over-60 tennis team. Heather’s brother, Dougie, plays cricket for Scotland, and sister Abbe is a Cambridge University tennis blue.
