Donna Kennedy is Scottish rugby’s most capped player, and the world record women's cap holder with 115 international appearances.

Making her debut on 14 February 1993, against Ireland, in Scotland's first ever international she found herself on the winning side. Donna had only started playing rugby the year before, having had a season with Biggar, after getting interested in the game while at school in the town.

She was part of the 1998 grand slam in the Five Nations Championship and is about to take part in her fifth World Cup tournament.

Donna has also played for the Classic Lionesses and the Nomads and was the IRB women’s personality of the year in 2004. The Biggar High School former pupil is a business manager and is coach with the national women's academy.
