Experienced prop, Allan Jacobsen and centre, Sean Lamont have said that the noise and size of the Murrayfield crowd on Saturday will drive them that extra mile to get their RBS 6 Nations campaign off to a flying start

In an interview with www.scottishrugby.org the players, who will both win their 61st cap at the weekend, explained that beating the Auld Enemy is their single focus and the two factors that will help them do that is doing their job on the field to the best of their ability and a huge, noisy crowd backing blue off the field.

Tickets are sold out for Saturday’s match ensuring a capacity Murrayfield attendance of 67,144 and are selling fast for Scotland’s other home match in this season’s championship – against France on Sunday 26 February (kick-off 3pm).

More than 63,600 have sold for France, meaning fewer than 3,500 remain on sale.
