Sarah, a sport and exercise student at Edinburgh's Napier University, started playing rugby when she was ten years old. She has played for Gothenburg Ladies and won the Swedish Championships with them in 2008, 2009 and 2011. She qualifies for Scotland through her Stranraer-born dad and made her international debut off the bench against the Netherlands in the November 2011 victory (33-10) in Amsterdam.
A cousin of her dad's is Allan Lamb, the former England cricketer.
