SCOTT FORREST - centre (forward in sevens)

Scott made his debut for Scotland 7s as a late squad replacement at the IRB tournaments in New Zealand and the USA in February 2006, where he helped the national side bring home the bowl from both competitions. He captained the Rugby Ecosse squad in Singapore in October 2007, continued in the role throughout the 2007/08 IRB Series and in April 2008 led the Scottish Thistles to victory in the Melrose 125th anniversary sevens. Injury forced him to miss the opening tournaments of the 2009/10 World Series but he returned to the squad in March 2009 for the RWC Sevens in Dubai, and for the second half of the Series. His 28 IRB tournaments, to date, have seen him accrue 100 points through 20 tries and recently added selection to the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi to his list of sevens achievements. Scott has played for his country at under-19 and under-21 levels and currently plays his club rugby with Ayr.
