ALEX BLAIR - stand-off

Prior to selction for the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, Alex first represented Scotland 7s at the London and Edinburgh IRB World Series events in 2010. Prior to that, in November 2008, he scored 37 points for the Scottish Thistles as they took the shield at the Singapore international sevens. He has represented Scotland at under-17, under-18, under-20 and Scotland A, during the 2010 IRB Nations Cup. The youngest of three Blair siblings, he joined his brothers Mike and David at Edinburgh Rugby when he signed for the professional side in spring 2010. Outside rugby, he has represented Scotland at age grade level in cricket.
