After playing sevens for Rugby Ecosse Scotland in Singapore in October 2007, Chris represented Scotland in all IRB 2007/08 World Series tournaments. He scored his debut try in George, in the 2008 victory over Australia that helped the Scots to their seventh successive IRB cup quarter-final. In April 2008 he was in the Scottish Thistles’ squad who won the Melrose 125th anniversary sevens. Having now played for Scotland 7s on 12 occasions, he has scored five tries. Chris has represented Scotland at under-18, under-19 and under-20 levels and, in 2007, was a member of the Fife youth teams who won both the Schools Cup and Youth Cup.
