| DOUGLAS DELIGHTED TO BE BACK IN BLUE |
| Friday, 18 June 2010 | ||
In an exclusive interview with www.scottishrugby.org, Scotland 'A' prop Bruce Douglas, who has 43 senior Scotland caps, today spoke about his return to the Scotland international set-up following a four year absence. Douglas, who won his last cap as a replacement against South Africa in 2006, has enjoyed spells in Wales with Llanelli Scarlets and France with Montpellier since leaving Border Reivers. Although disappointed with the results of Scotland's first two games of the IRB Nations Cup, he feels that they must now win "at all costs" to ensure they end the tour on a positive note. Douglas admitted that he has a desire to play for Scotland again but remains proud of his international achievements should the opportunity not arise in the future. Scotland 'A' face Argentina Jaguars on Sunday (20 June) in their third and final match of the IRB Nations Cup. All games are being played at the Stadionul National Arcul de Triumf in the Romanian capital of Bucharest. |
