TRAYNOR REJOINS 'A' SQUAD
Thursday, 17 June 2010

Kyle Traynor, the 24-year-old Edinburgh prop, has today rejoined the Scotland 'A' squad at the IRB Nations Cup in Romania.Image

Traynor had flown out to Argentina last week to provide front row cover to the senior national team as a precaution following an abdominal upset suffered by Alasdair Dickinson. Dickinson has now recovered and is on the bench for the second Test on Saturday.

On Tuesday evening, National Academy prop Lewis Niven sustained a foot injury during the 'A' team's match against Namibia. Niven will now be replaced by Traynor on his return to the Romanian capital but will remain with the 'A' squad and return to Scotland with them on Monday (21 June).
