SCOTS ARRIVE IN ARGENTINA
Saturday, 05 June 2010

After a 16 hour journey from the UK, Scotland's rugby squad arrived safely in Buenos Aires on Saturday morning, one week ahead of their opening Test against the Pumas.

While four of the 28-strong playing party are on their first senior Scotland tour, attack coach Gregor Townsend has vast experience of the psyche required to perform on foreign soil, including a winning Lions Test series.  Townsend was last in Argentina 16 years ago, then as a player on a six match tour, where Scotland won one game and narrowly lost both Test matches.

Townsend gave www.scottishrugby.org his thoughts on the challenge that lies ahead and also on the squad's immediate plans having arrived in South America.
