Following the Tests, a Scotland travelling squad of 26 will then be named for the World Cup before the side takes on Ireland in a non-cap encounter on Sunday 18 July (also at Lasswade) as final preparation for the World Cup - entry to all three games is free.

Scotland captain, Lynne Reid, said: "We're all eager to get back on the field and compete, building on the positive performances from the Six Nations.

"We're all fully committed to the heavy training schedule in the run up to the World Cup - throughout the last four years that's what we've had in our sights.
