Tickets for the big party are available now from just £15 for adults (advance purchase offer), £10 for students and £5 for under-18s at www.edinburgh7s.com and the 24-hour ticket hotline (0844 335 3933) - tickets are also available on the day. After the first six events, in Dubai, South Africa, New Zealand, USA, Australia and Hong Kong - Samoa come to the UK leading eight-time Series winners New Zealand by just three points. As a result, the Samoans have been drawn as top seeds in Edinburgh's 16-team tournament with New Zealand, Australia and the USA also heading a pool based on results from the last two tournaments. While Samoa play Argentina, Kenya and France in Pool A, New Zealand line up against reigning Series champions South Africa, Italy and Russia in Pool B - in fact the pairing of the two groups means that, depending on results, Samoa and New Zealand could go head to head for the Series title in the knockout stages or in a winner takes all Murrayfield final. Currently placed third in the series, defending Edinburgh 7s champions Fiji provide a fantastic start to Scotland 7s' Pool D action on Saturday 29 May as we bid to continue our run of consecutive successes on British soil over the south-sea islanders - having beaten them 19-14 at Murrayfield in 2008, and 12-7 in London in 2009. Scotland 7s head coach, Stephen Gemmell, said: "Fiji are the one team that everyone associates with sevens. They have a historical pedigree and are playing well this season but, as we've shown over the last two years with wins in London and Edinburgh, we have the ability to beat them. It's very exciting for everyone involved and one the crowd will love." Scotland then meet the USA, before finishing day one against Wales, to determine their fate in Sunday's knockout stages (Sunday 30 May). Gemmell added: "The USA are a much improved sevens side. They've always had good athletes but having improved their rugby knowledge and understanding their results this season merit them being top seeds. "We know Wales very well and traditionally our matches have been very close. As you would expect from matches against any of the home nations this will be a keenly contested, physical and entertaining contest to end the first day of the sevens." Scotland internationalist Ally Hogg made his Scotland 7s debut in last season's London tournament where Scotland reached the first of two consecutive semi-finals. Hogg recalled his introduction to the abbreviated international game: "I thoroughly enjoyed playing sevens last year and, if selected and club commitments allow, would love to represent my country in sevens again. "The summer weather makes for such a great weekend. Everyone in the crowd had a great time last year at Murrayfield and really spurred us on when we took to the field. "The crowd will see some exciting rugby and close-fought games. That's when the supporters can really make a massive difference - you only need to look at how the team have performed at home in the last two years to see the impact they make. "Traditionally, because of the time of year, we can field our strongest squad with the likes of Sean Lamont playing a part last year, so hopefully we'll build on previous performances and really give the crowd something to shout about." IRB Sevens Manager Beth Coalter added: "Once again this year the Series will reach its climax in Scotland, the birthplace of sevens, and it's anyone's guess who will be crowned overall champion with things so tight at the top." "Without question, this has been the most competitive series to date and the top two will also be looking over their shoulders at the challengers, including Scotland who have performed superbly in Edinburgh in recent times." In Pool C Australia will take on England, Canada and Portugal. EMIRATES AIRLINE EDINBURGH SEVENS POOLS
