Dan Parks lead the national team onto the Murrayfield pitch today as he won his 50th cap for Scotland sparking the beginning of a vociferous encounter with the Auld Enemy.

Following today’s 15-15 draw against England in the RBS 6 Nations Championship match at Murrayfield, the players had the following to say:

Scotland captain, Chris Cusiter, said: “That’s maybe the best I’ve ever heard Murrayfield. It was absolutely fantastic when Dan [Parks] ran out, and during the anthems.

“I hope people will see the ambition we are trying to play with and will want to come back for more.”

Lock Alastair Kellock added: “The crowd was just awesome. Their singing of Flower of Scotland was the best I’ve ever heard and the guys were just ready to go after that.”
