Autumn Tests 2010
SCOTS FACE MORE WORLD CLASS OPPOSITION THIS WEEKEND
Friday, 27 November 2009

Scotland face yet more world class opposition at Murrayfield this weekend with the visit of Argentina to the national stadium in the final game of the Bank of Scotland Corporate Autumn Tests. Kick-off is at 2:30pm.

Tickets for Saturday’s Test are priced from £10 for adults and £5 for under-18s and students are on sale via the credit card hotline 0844 335 3933 and through the Scottish Rugby website www.scottishrugby.org until midnight tonight (27 Npvember); or in person from the Scottish Rugby Ticket Centre, Murrayfield Stadium, which is open 9am- 8pm Monday-Friday. Please note a booking fee applies for all credit card transactions and that no tickets are sold on match day.

Head coach Andy Robinson believes that the Pumas are like a “wounded animal” following their defeats at the hands of England and Wales and will be looking to end their Autumn campaign on a high.

Robinson also spoke this week of how he expects Argentina to play with real intelligence when they visit Murrayfield.

He said: “They are very intelligent in the way they play the game and can attack in a number of different ways.

“They play with great physicality and have a dominant scrum but also have real pace out wide.

“They have one of the most outstanding players in the world currently in Fernandez Lobbe who last week took on Wales single handedly with his performance, which I thought was immense, so we’ve got to deal with him.”

A win over Argentina would mark Scotland’s first Autumn Test grand slam since 2002.

Make sure you are part of the Murrayfield roar this weekend as Scotland bid to make it three wins out of three.
