| The stunning Millennium Stadium in Cardiff is one of the world's most spectacular sporting arenas. Completed for the 1999 Rugby World Cup, the capacity currently stands at 74,500. The stadium is the first in Britain to feature a retractable roof, and was built on the site of the famous old Cardiff Arms park on the banks of the River Taff. Getting there Car: Get into Cardiff via junction 29 of the M4, then the A48. There is no stadium parking, so park away and walk in. Rail: Cardiff Central links to London Paddington in less than two hours. Air: The nearest airport is Wales International Airport, about 20 minutes drive from Cardiff. |
